STORY OF COSMOS SUB AQUA CLUB

Since our conception (1975), many people from all walks of life have joined our branch and, even after they stop diving or move to sunnier climes, still keep in touch with us. We are a small friendly branch and over the years have numbered between 20 and 45 members. They range in age from 18 to 60 and come from all walks of life. We welcome anyone who wants to come and dive with us!!!
We are branch 0785 of B.S.A.C. and were founded in 1975. Since that date we have been based at Kensington Sports Centre, WALMER RD, Kensington, London W11. We meet every Tuesday evening 8.30pm to 10pm and are a small friendly branch averaging 20 to 45 members. We have an extensive dive programme diving all through the season. We cater for all levels of diver and welcome any grade of divers from any organisation. .

 

 

WOULD YOU LIKE TO JOIN IN:

Our fee is ALL IN. It is for one years membership and not just for a short training course. It includes everything, except consumables such as air, about £3 per tank fill, and of course actual diving costs, ie boat hire, dive sites & travelling. We are a friendly club and have social events as well. We DO NOT charge:.

  • Swimming in the pool
  • Training.
  • Lectures
  • for Equipment hire

 

 

TRY WITH US:

We undertake come and try dives for beginners, for which no medical is required. When you join us you will need to take a medical before you start on the Ocean Diver course. After that the Oceans the limit !!! We can do cross over qualifications for CMAS, NASDS, NAUI, PADI, Royal Navy Ship Diver, SAA and SSI. This is called the Statement of alternative Training (SALT).
